I like to get the odd meal from Asda's Chinese and Indian Takeaway counter. This is a quick and a little bit cheaper alternative to a Takeaway. You can buy this main meal part on it's own for approx £2.29, or you can add Rice, a Mini Snack and Crackers, or Poppadom's to make a meal and I think this costs approx £3.30 I think. The packaging for this is alright. It is just in a black plastic tray with a cellophane lid over the top of it. This lid peels off quite easily, and since you can cook this in the tray, then you just make some slits in the cellophane. Recently this Asda Xpress Chicken and Black Pepper caught my eye, as I am always looking for easy, tasty meals to make for me and my partner. I popped a container of this into my trolley as it looked lovely. The Chicken and Black Pepper dish comes in a rectangular, clear plastic container with clear cellophane on the top, which lets you see what you are buying. It has a red label with a dragon drawn on it which gives it an oriental look. The dish is easily cooked. It can either be put in the oven for 30 minutes or put in the microwave for just six minutes.
