Chicken Kiev are one thing I have never been any good at making myself so I tend to always buy them, usually I go for the Marks and Spencers ones as they are really nice but in the supermarket the other day these were on special offer of two packs for £2.50 so I thought I would give them a try.

I must say that I'm unlkely to repeat the purchase mainly because they were far too salty for my taste buds and I was gulping down the water after eating one of these, my other half complained as well that they are too salty so it was not just me.

Each pack contains two chicken kievs wich are made from 100% chicken breats with garlic sauce in the middle and an outer coating of breadcrumbs, certainly the chicken was nice and tender and slightly moist as well and the bread crumbs were nice and crunchy and while the arlic sauce was plentiful and quite strong tasting it was here that the strong salty taste came from as well.

They are not the worst kiev I have ever eaten but I think I will stick to my M&S ones in future, it is worth the exra cost for the extra quality and taste.
