... costing £1.44, but this is one of those products that I can't do without so I'm always perfectly happy to pay this price. It can sometimes be found on a BOGOF or 2 for £2 offer though which makes it much better value so I stock up. 100g of rice contains only 100 calories so it's a very tasty and healthy accompaniment to any meal.
I wouldn't have this rice with meals such as sweet and sour Chinese as I wouldn't like peas with it, but with anything else, curry or just as a side dish, this will always be my favourite rice....more

When I was a little girl I was a very fussy eater and would only eat basic foods. But, whenever I went round my grandparents' house, my grandad used to cook himself up this delicious looking curry which smelt simply divine. Never having liked either rice or curry before, he gave me a small taster to sample as it looked and smelt too nice for me to resist. Ever since then, every single time I went round to their house, my grandad would make me this same dish and still now it is one of my favourite meals.
