      Gorgeous, easy to heat pizza!

I love pizza and I particularly like a decent make of pizza...and if its on offer for a pound a go (in Asda) all the better, and in fact I bought a couple of them with high hopes that they'd be nice lol.

      The Packaging:

Dark green box with a photograph of the pizza on the front of it and I am told that it is Goodfella's Thin Crust Chicken Provencal 'Stonebaked base topped with our signature tomato sauce, fine mozzarella, chicken and provencal herb dressing' and there is an at a glance nutritional chart on there too. On the back of the box other information listed includes being told a bit more about the product, ingredients and allergy advice is given as are the cooking instructions, storage details (this is freezable by the way) and a full nutritional chart is shown along with contact details for Green Isle Foods (the manufacturer of the product) and the weight of the pizza is listed (which is 355g). Nice enough, easy to open and informative enough box this is and inside the pizza is in a see-through plastic, easy to tear off casing.

      The Pizza Itself:

Not very big really it is round and thin as promised. The base is made from wheat four and appears doughy and the top is covered in thin slices of light yellow mozzarella and slices of herb covered chicken and rests on a decent amount of tomato puree.

This cooks in about 15-17 minutes in a pre heated oven and in that time cooks to perfection (in my experience). It all goes a bit of a golden colour and of course the cheese melts and goes a little gooey looking.

Taste wise me and my flatmate who shared this loved it! The base was light and tasty and not bread like but tasted of a soft dough, the tomato sauce was tangy with a hint of parsley and garlic to it and the cheese was plentiful, moist and creamy and the chicken tasted moist and like breast and not one bit chewy.

We liked the seasoning this also contained and the following night ate the second pizza! A great quality, yummy pizza from the guys (and gals) at Goodfella's! Lovely!
