      Not recommended

I bought a couple of cans of HP all day breakfast from Morrison's last week as they were on Special offer at £1.50 for two cans and I thought it may be a bit of a change from beans and sausages on toast. This is for a 410g tin.

      Nutritional information

The can contains values for 100g so it is approximately double for half a tin

      Kcals 86
      Fat 4.0g
      Sodium 0.3g

Contains: Gluten, wheat, mustard, milk and eggs.

When I opened the can there were two egg filled meatballs, two sausages, two button mushrooms and one circle of bacon mixed with a large portion of baked beans.

I poured the tin into a microwavable bowl and cooked them for three minutes which is in accordance with the manufacturers instructions while I made the toast.

I shared them equally between myself and my son on toast with margarine and sat down to eat them.

I first tried the baked beans I am quite wary of different brands of baked beans and do tend to prefer Heinz as I find some cheaper brands are quite hard but these were soft and slightly tangy. Next I tried the sausage which was a slightly larger version from normal tins of beans and sausages but I found it slightly mushier. The Meatball was hollowed out in the centre and filled with egg but this all appeared to be yolk. The sausage casing was a little fatty but the egg in the middle was awful. It was hard and I didn't get the taste of egg. My son however polished these off and the second half of mine but I think it was appearance of egg as he does have a little egg obsession. I shared the half a small circle of bacon with my son. It had a slight bacon taste but not the texture of bacon. The mushroom was tasteless like all tinned mushrooms. There was plenty of sauce which was not runny and had a sweet taste

Overall I found while there was plenty different shaped food items however the tastes all blended into one. Had I not analysed them as I was eating planning to write a review I am not sure the flavours of the meat would have been distinctive enough to notice.

There was plenty for both myself and my son and while my son did enjoy it simply because it was something different but personally I won't be buying these again I would prefer to buy Baked beans and sausages however I would definitely buy Hp baked beans again.
