I haven't been shopping at Iceland for years, but took the change when I was down the street last week. After seeing adverts about Iceland on the TV during the I'm A Celebrity breaks, I thought I would have to try the shop again.

This is a frozen ready meal that cost a bargain £1. My pack is the same as the Dooyoo picture, and although it states Big Value Pack, it is just 400g like other ready meals out there, so nothing more than that.

On the front of the box this Curry looked nice but it often does on packaging.

The Meal was in a plastic tray which you just cook in the Microwave for 8 minutes.

Don't have the box to hand, but this Curry had 534 calories per pack, so not too good for you!

So how did this taste? It was alright. I think it tasted a little bit like Birds Eye Chicken Curry. The Curry had a bit spice to it, it was more a light brown colour, so I would have guessed it was a bit Hot - not too much though. There was a good amount of Rice, and although the Rice seemed a bit stuck together, I always put the curry on top of the Rice, as I like my Rice to be mixed with the Curry Sauce. There wasn't a huge amount of Chicken in this, but i'm sure for the price you would have guessed this. The Chicken was in quite chunky strips and certainly tasted like Breast Meat. It was nice and tender and a few more strips would have made all the difference.

This was a nice enough snack, but not that filling, but filling enough compared to the others out there. I would buy it again, but wouldn't go out my way to get it.
