“ Brand: Iceland / Type: Pizza „
The double pepperoni pizza from Iceland will set you back £1. Yes only £1 for 380 grams of delicious pepperoni on top of a thin base covered in cheese.
The pizza comes in normal packaging, a cardboard box and a polythene wrapper around the pizza itself. In terms of size the pizza is a pizza hut medium, 6 reasonable sized slices. You can of course cut this smaller. I personally couldn't eat the whole thing, but I'm sure many of you could.
It is a thin based pizza which does make it less stodgy like deep pan pizza's that can sometimes have too much bread (dough). However this pizza also isn't too thin, like some Italian restaurants can make them. It is a happy medium.
Now the toppings, this pizza has double pepperoni, you may think this is just twice as much, it isn't, it has the standard large pepperoni slices on the top as well as some mini pepperoni slices that are a far bit smaller, and almost look like a cut up sausage, what matters is they both just equally as good.
This doesn't just have the double pepperoni on though; it also has some red and green peppers to add some more flavour. Like with anything the main ingredients in my book are the most important, there is enough tomato sauce to enhance the taste not over power it, and plenty of cheese to cover the pizza top and melt in to a cheesy feast when cooked.
The pizza is really tasty and for £1, I hardly think you can go wrong, this is a great item to put in your freezer and cook on a night you really can't be bothered or you can cook it with some friends and have it as a snack.
I think it is good value and definitely doesn't taste cheap even though it is.
This pizza doesn't disappoint (well only vegetarians as they won't eat it)!
