Tasty, filling and good for you!

I discovered this lovely little ready meal on one of my rare trips to Sainsburys (although you can also get it in the Co-op) . I liked the look of it and at £2.49 I reckoned it was worth a gamble. You can find it in the frozen vegetarian food section. The box is purple and orange with a mouth-watering photograph of the tagine served on a bed of cous cous to entice you to buy it. It worked a treat on me!

The tagine is made up of soya pieces, sweet fruits, lemon and chickpeas. There are only 286 calories per meal which surprised me as it filled me up when I ate it just on it's own. You could also serve it as on the pack with cous cous or it would make a great jacket potato filling.

The taste is very lemony and sweet. I found the sauce to be really rich and moreish. The soya chunks were firm and they went well with the chickpeas.

I find this a great ready meal - it heats up quickly in the microwave so is ideal when you need a filling dinner in a hurry and I know it is healthy too so although it's a treat, I don't feel bad afterwards.

In fact I love it so much I am visiting Sainsburys a bit more these days!

Allergy advice: contains wheat, gluten, milk, soya and soybeans.
