      A unique and flavoursome curry from M & S

My partner lives over the road from Marks & Spencer so he quite often goes in there. I also pop in there sometimes; whilst overall they are expensive, they do have some great foods and sometimes good offers. It was my partner that first recommended to me this delicious Keralan Chicken Curry. It is part of Marks & Spencers Simply Fuller for longer range. It states on the pack that 'Research shows simply fuller for longer can help you lose weight without feeling hungry' this meal is actually quite filling and plentiful and only 320 Kcals One thing that is unique about it; is the spiced samosa crust topping. This goes really well with the meal. It is described as 'Chicken, potato & spinach in an aromatic coconut sauce topped with samosa crust'. I would class this meal as being medium hot, which is ideal for me. You can taste the spices and flavours in it and the coconut sauce is delicious. There is plenty of Chicken breast meat too. I also love the fact that there are small pieces of cauliflower in this meal and also potatoes. This improves it further and adds an extra bonus to the dish. ~~Main Ingredients~~ Marinated Chicken breast (22%), Cauliflower (15%), Water, Potatoes (10%), Onions, Coconut Milk (6%), Turmeric spiced filo pastry (5%), Spinach (5%), Tomatoes, Semi skimmed Milk, Ginger Puree, Cornflour, Garlic puree, Sugar, Tapioca Starch, Coriander, Curry Powder, Red Chilli puree, Gelling agent (Pectin), Black onion seeds, Brown mustard seeds, Rapseed oil, Concentrated Tamarind curry leaves, Cracked Black Pepper, Coriander seeds, Ground cloves, Ground cinnamon, Dried orange pulp ~~Allergy advice~~ Contains Cow's Milk, Wheat, Gluten, Mustard There are no artificial colours, flavourings or preservatives in this product. This lovely curry only takes half an hour to cook in the oven; for serving it is recommended you take the samosa topping off the meal once the meal is cooked, stir the filling and serve then replace the samosa on the top of the meal. The topping comes out overall quite crispy and it is very clever how M & S have achieved this! You can buy this meal at a price of 2 for £6.00 in combination with a choice of other fuller for longer meals. Brought on its own is more pricey. This is a great tasting dish, tasty, full of lovely spices and low in calories; worthy of 4 Dooyoo stars in my view; If it cost a little less I would award it 5.
