I love to cook for myself & my husband but sometimes I just do not have the time or the motivation to cook up a feast from scratch. This is when I tend to use instant mashed potato for a quick meal that I can whip up in just a few minutes. This box of instant mashed potato costs just 54p for 230g and I only purchased it because the value one that I usually purchase wasn't available in the Metro store that I was visiting. But that is 20p per 120g so the price isn't that much more expensive for this anyway. I brought a box of this Oak Lane Instant Mashed Potato because even though I don't like fake mash much, my little sister does and it's quicker to do her some of this up than peel and cook potatoes. Lazy I know but some instant mash can taste kind of ok if you put a bit of butter in it when it's done. I thought I'd try this one because it was only about 60p for a decent sized box, you make it up the same way as any other instant mash with boiling water. You just tip however much you need into a bowl, add the water and stir like mad until it's as fluffy as you can get it.... this is when you need to add your butter if you're using it and then give it another ...
