      Very helpful

      Argh horrid!

When it comes to cheese I'm not all that keen on it and my mate being Vegetarian and rather opposed to eating cheese we haven't had any in weeks since we been touring on holiday.

However we spotted this in an Asda costing £1.39 a tub and we decided to get it to use in mash potato and things like that and being totally Vegetarian and Vegan we really wanted to try it out as we had never prior to the seen a fake hard cheese before!

      The Packaging:

60g cardboard tub with a plastic white top to the top of it and one side you can pour the cheese replacer out of., the other side you shake it through some holes for a finer mist of it. On the front of the tub I'm told it is Life Free From, Dairy Free Pamazano Grated Hard Cheese Replacer and that is is dairy and gluten free and of course suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans alike and there is some drawn on people on there. On the back of the tub other information given includes being told a bit about ways to use it, ingredients and nutritional information is given and contact details for Parmazano are listed. Nice size, handy to deal with and informative enough of course.

      Using It:

Well you are meant to use this anywhere where you would usually use cheese. In mash potato, over spag bol, pasta dishes and/or over pizzas....the list is endless.

However this stuff is simply horrible. Beigy in colour and fine it has a salty overtone to it and a weird taste of soya and it sort of dries otherwise nice foods with a powdery sort of taste that really isn't one bit cheesy lol.

To me and my mate this doesn't taste at all of cheese and certainly doesn't taste like any hard shaker cheese I have in the past tried.

Of course this is a cheese replacer and isn't cheese and to me it is like powdered soya that is salty and slightly sour and smells of really over worn socks! Not for me or my mate we absoloutely hated this and never again will either of us have to eat it again cos it landed in the bin quick smart! Not recommended from us at all! We hate it!
