Advantages: I cant tell the difference and its good for you
Disadvantages: I'm not sure, but im guessing theres a cheaper meat alternative
I am not a vegetarian, however my both my best friend and my girlfriend are. I have also spent some time working in a sausage factory, and as a result of the above, i like to think of myself as a vegetarian sympathizer. This means i pretty much don't cook any meat. I'll still eat it though. When ever i have anything that involves mince, ill always go for the quorn alternative.
The thing i like about this is that there is no difference in taste what so ever. At least i can't tell a difference. However when you think about it, it seems so much safer to go for this. When you buy meat, especially cheap meat you havn't a clue what is in it. Or what condition the animal that it came from had to live in. So not only are you not getting processed meat, but your eating vegetables. So its good for you. What can you lose from it.
Summary: Get this instead of the real stuff. Its so much better
