Quorn Mini kievs!

In May this year I will have been a vegetarian for five years! I do not eat any version of meat and I also don't eat fish. And I also don't eat gelatin which is in many of the little gummy chewy sweets that I like! To be honest I have not found turning vegetarian very hard, and Quorn products have really really helped varying my diet and adding protein back in to my diet - which is what many vegetarians may be lacking. Trust me I know as I have been anemic (Iron deficient) because I didn't have enough iron in my diet which I would have obtained from eating meat.

I am always looking for different things to eat such as pies, snacks and sandwich fillings. I would be lost with out Quorn products, they offer so much variety and choice and protein to my diet. I now have many options to me being vegetarian.

I tried the mini kievs a few weeks ago and they are really quite nice but they can be quite dry like some other products I have tried. They are great for lunch boxes and little snacks through out the day! And the main reason I love Quorn is that the products are really low in calories! Which is really good! One of the mini kievs has 44 calories! They are really nice with melted cheese on too.

I have tried many of the Quorn products and I will be reviewing them shortly. They are quite cheap and they are very high quality! They contain fibre and protein which is an essential part of your diet. The products range from £1 to £2 for the kievs. They are sold in a few super markets but I don't think that the super markets offer and stock a lot of products for vegetarians but you can also buy them from Holland and Barrats at the back of the store. Even my sister again who is not a vegetarian likes these and some of the other products in the range.

Conclusions

*Fairly cheap
*Not really available in a lot of supermarkets
*Great for all the family
*Perfect for lunch boxes or as a little snack
*Really low in calories!
*Can be a little bit dry
*High quality
*High in essential protein and fibre

Thank you for reading my review.

Summary: A good product but can be a little bit dry!
