Good value for not too much money

I saw these in the Freezer section of Sainsbury's (next to the other Vegetarian products), and thought I would give them a try as they were only about £1.

When I opened the packaging I was quite suprise at how small the burgers were. I cooked them from frozen in the oven for about 30 minutes (as per the instructions), and they came outsizzling, crispy and golden brown.

As the burgers seemed quite small we (both adults) had two each as a sandwich. The cooked burgers were delicious. There was perhaps a lot of potato compared to the other vegetables, but nevertheless there was a good mix of peas, sweetcorn, carrots and green beans. We both found that the burgers were well seasoned, but that they went very well with the addition of tomato ketchup.

I think that these Vegetable burgers were a great find. They were inexpensive and tasty and would be ideal for either a snack or as part of a main meal. The only thing I might not try is to barbeque them as I think they might fall apart on the grill.
