I buy ready meals to take to work as they are easy, quick and convinient. As I am on a diet I normally buy the Weight Watchers things but they were becoming expensive so I decidede to try some of the Tesco Light Choice things. I had this on friday for my lunch and was impressed by it as I did not care much for the Weight Watchers one. The pack contains: 447 calories, 7.2g sugar, 8.8g fat. The ingredients include: Pasta, Tomato, Beef, Tomato Puree, Onion, Cornflour, Red Wine, Beef Stock, Carrot, Celery, Balsamic Vinegar, Garlic Puree, Basil, Salt, Oregano and Black Pepper. Tesco Light choices Spaghetti Bolognese is on offer at the moment, so I thought I would try it, for a meal to take to work. The packet tells me it is Fresh egg spaghetti in a Beef and tomato Bolognese sauce. It also mentions that it contains 30% less fat than standard Italian Tesco spaghetti Bolognese, that it has low sugars, and is a good source of protein. It also says it contains no artificial preservatives, flavours, colours or hydrogenated fat. The product comes inside a cardboard sleeve, a microwaveable dish containing the food, with a film lid.
