A Boring And Not Very Filling Sandwich

When I was out shopping today I was starving but because I'm trying to eat a bit more healthy I got a sandwich from Tesco instead of going across the road to Mcdonalds. The one I ended up buying was Tuna & Sweetcorn, it's not LIGHT like Dooyoo have got in the title but apart from that it's exactly the same as in the photo above.

The sandwich was about £1.50 and I was happy with that because there looked like there was quite a lot of filling in it and I love anything to do with tuna mayo so thought I'd enjoy this sandwich.

It's a bit boring though and I wasn't all that keen on the filling at all. There wasn't enough mayo for me and it was a bit sticky as well, the tuna was nice and had a fresh flavour but the mayo ruined it.... thinking about it I bet it's Tesco own mayo or something because it deffo isn't Hellmans or any of the top brands.

There's hardly any sweetcorn in the sandwich either and I was GUTTED about that because I love sweetcorn! The few bits in there tasted nice and were crunchy but you only get like 1 piece of sweetcorn in each bite and that's if you're lucky!

The malted brown bread was gorgeous, it was the best thing about the whole sandwich actually! lol It's lovely and soft with a proper nice malted flavour that comes through as soon as you start eating it. The bread isn't that strong that you can't taste the filling over it and that's a bad thing I reckon because I think I'd rather have the butty tasting of the bread than the manky mayo they've used in it!!!

I didn't think the sandwich was all that filling either and I was glad that I'd got a bag of crisps with it because if I hadn't I reckon I'd have ended up going to Mcdonalds anyway because I still felt starving after eating this!

Not recommended..... boring sandwich and they've used a proper cheap tasting mayo!!!
