Advantages: Thick tasty Tomato Sauce, and the chicken Meatball taste is good too.
Disadvantages: none.
Ive recently moved so am now shopping in Tescos Extra.
Their value range has some great offers and I like to kep a few tins of value products in for a rainy day, or for that unexpected guest that happens to pop in and require a hot snack. Also they are great for my grandchildren and also for myself whilst I await delivery of a new cooker, so microwavable items are a plus at the moment.
They cost 38pence and come in a tin. Value range Meatballs come in a basic style tin saying Tescos value Meatballs in tomato sauce. Good value for money and you will need a can openner to open this tin.
Simply open put into a microwavable dish and heat in the microwave for a few minutes four being the tops, or until the sauce is piping hot and it does bubble so I suggest you cover the dish with a layer of cling film when possible.
The ingredients are several meatballs in a really lovely tasting thick tomato sauce, which I enjoyed very much, I had mine on toast. The Meatballs were soft and tasted fairly good considering they were cheap, they were very nice I didnt mind the taste at all.
You can alternatively cook them on the hob, if unlike me you have one. Five minutes should be enough as indicated on the tin.
Store in a cool dry place. If you have any left store in a covered dish in the refridgerator.
The ingredients : was just wondering what was contained in these Meatballs :-
Chicken Meatballs 44 percent. Water, Tomato Puree 22 percent, Sugar and Vegtable Oil, Salt, Yeast, and also Onion Powder, Turmeric, and white pepper, Wheat Flour, Potato Starch, Salt, Yeast Extract, Stabilisers, and Raising Agents, nothing too bad i guess.
The can is widely recycled.
I actually willl be awarding them four stars as they are good value for money, are great to keep in your food cupboard and taste nice too.
Thanks for reading and rating my reviews.
Summary: Great to have as a snack on toast or alternatively with some rice and peas.
