Because of my sweet tooth (see many of my other reviews) I have to try and eat slightly healthier on other occasions. It's not always possible to make a proper meal with meat and vegetables from scratch in this busy world we live in, so I, like a lot of people, have to turn to ready meals from time to time. Weight Watchers make a number of different ready meals, and one of my particular favourites is their Chicken Curry. If you're familiar with the Weight Watchers points system, this meal will cost you 4 1/2 points, which to non-point savvy people is a pretty low fat point rating. The curry takes about 11 minutes to 'cook'. 6 1/2 on full ... Read the complete review

It seems like I am more often on a diet than off of one! As a result, over the years, I have tried many of the Weight Watchers range of frozen dinners - one of them being the Weight Watchers Chicken Curry. When I get home from a long day of work, sometimes I can't be bothered to cook, and therefore this is the time when I'm more likely to get a fat-laden takeaway. Having a couple of Weight Watchers meals in the freezer makes this less likely to happen - and so for that reason they are very convenient. From putting in in the microwave to having it in front of you on the plate it takes about 10 minutes - and so its fast food without the fat. Each portion of this meal ... Read the complete review

I don't personally follow the Weight Watchers diet plan, but really enjoy some of the Weight Watchers convenience meals anyway. The chicken curries are usually in the region of £1.50 if you buy them individually, but you can often get them on offer for something like 5 for £5, so they work out at around £1 each, which I think is reasonable value. I usually eat the Weight Watchers curry as a convenient lunch - I personally don't think there is enough in one to fill you up at tea time, although if you were to bulk it up with a Weight Watchers naan or something of the sort it would probably be filling enough. For those who follow the diet plan, the points value ... Read the complete review

Weight Watchers Chicken Curry Description: Manufacturer: Weight Watchers / Type: Ready Meal Like so many of us, I managed to eat and drink far too much over the festive season. Unfortunately, this has meant that or the last few months, I have been trying to shift those few extra pounds. One of the best ways for me to do this is avoid snacking of course, but because I work shifts, this isn't always easy. I find that far too often, I eat the wrong things at the wrong times, so the best way to prevent this is to make sure that I have a decent and fulfilling meal, which helps stop me reaching for snacks ... *Price & Availability* I purchased my Weight Watchers Chicken Curry from Morrisons a few weeks ago, for just 75p. The regular price is around £1.45 and they are available in most supermarkets and frozen food shops. I have only ever seen one portion size at 320g. *Nutritional Bits* Per serving of 320g is just 307 calories, less than 2% fat and 4.5 Weight Watchers points. I do not follow the WW eating plan, never have and am very unlikely to do so in the future, so this means very little to me. *Packaging* The chicken curry and long grain white rice are packaged in a two-part divided black plastic tray, within a cardboard ...
