And so to the first disappointment - the meal didn't brown up like the one on the package but this wasn't a major shock as I have never had a ready meal look like the one on the package..

So I've been following a diet for a few weeks and mostly I've been preparing meals from scratch and freezing the leftovers for later. But there have been times when I haven't wanted to cook or have forgotten to rescue something from the freezer and it is on these occasions that I have reached for a ready meal.
