I could eat mashed potato every day and not get bored, so i would describe myself as a bit of a fanatic. It has to be tasty, it has to be a bit creamy, and must look good. For this reason, i normally avoid products that are not a potato, a bit of butter and a bit of milk, along with a bit of effort. My usual thought is that the ready made options unless it is the sort of top end of the market product are an absolute waste of space in my house. I am not following weightwatchers but have done in the past, so the first thing that struck me is that the portion of mashed potato is only 2 points. To me that seemed pretty good. Now, I'm not one for frozen mash. In fact I don't think I'd ever eaten it until I saw that Weight Watchers have developed their own, which is lower in points than the usual creamy mash I dollop on my plate. I wasn't expecting much from it if I'm honest, it's just that since I joined Weight Watchers I've gone on a mission to try as many of their foods as possible for the simple reason that it's handy to have ready-pointed food in the kitchen for times when I can't be bothered to cook from scratch.
