Having relocated a house of furniture etc plus 2 kids frm UK-Dubai-UK-Dubai-USA over the past few years, I've used a few removal companies. Allied Pickfords has given the most appalling service I've encountered which is particularly galling given the price. I used both sea and air freight services this time, paying over £11,000 for privilage of dealing with the Canadian and USA side of Allied who do not tae responsibility for the freight. The air freight landed at one end of the USA (LA), only to be trucked up north to Seattle, trucked back south and trucked up north again. I only know this because I bothered to chase the different offices deaing with the freight as not once did Allied keep me updated as to status. The sea freight sat 25 miles away for a week when it had aready taken 2 weeks to clear customs. Do not use this company for international moves - use your local mover who will have good connections with a local destination agent. It is far cheaper, less stressful and a whole lot better service.

Summary: appalling, costly service
