ASL removals in Forest Hill London.
I used them to move 3 items from Kent to Scotland, They collected on the Wed to deliver the following day. Guess what, it never arrived, and they did not bother to contact me either. Their excuse' the van had broken down!! Apparently they use this excuse regualry. Well it did not arrive the next day, they gave me 4 different times 2 deliver, after I called them asking where my furniture was. Friday I was told it would be with me by mid morning...nothing, then I was told 5.30, again nothing, then at 10.30pm, still no furniture. All the time they made no contact. Then I was told 1am it would arrive Sat morning, it arrived at 2.30 in the morning. They refused to unload till they were paid; I refused to pay until they unloaded my furniture. In the end I called the police then when I said I would pay them once it was off the van, they still refused to unload, they then insisted I had to pay more as they had to take it down 6 steps!!! Also they said that I had an extra one piece of furniture, which was unture. I refused and told them I had an email with their quote. As I was talking to the police and when they realised this, and I said I would pay once it was out of their van so with the threat of the police they took the furniture into my apartment then left. The furniture had been damaged slightly. The reviews that have been taken off this site about ASL all warn of their scam in charging more money before they will unload your furniture, about also charging more money for having to take it into your apartment/house. Others have paid this out, had their good damaged and had the most appalling experience from these guys who really could not care less about your goods or how long they keep them. The reviews saying they are an excellent company are NOT written by people who have used them but by the company themselves. I warned them I would write this review hence they have written their own liars. BE WARNED DO NOT TRUST OR USE ASL. I have written to Watch Dog about this company as the public need to be aware. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

They used to be on a web site touchlondon.co.uk but they seem to have vanished from this site, just be very aware of this awful comnpany.

Latest update 14.7.08: This is now with the Trading Standards Office in Lewisham who are investigating my complaint and many others, although it seems they are still defrauding the public. I have today sent an email to the TSO to update them on the situation. Let's hope with all the complaints something can be done to stop these awful people.
