I have just been handed over a new flat at Maple Quays London from Barrat Homes. Today, and just two weeks after receiving the flat and before I move in, there now is a serious water leakage problem - with waste water overflowing out of the drainage in the bathroom, and zipping through the floor to the concierge one floor below. I called Barrat Homes sales office (which is the sole contact I have with Barrat Homes so far) and the only reply I received was that I should speak with their customer care department. The sales office lady showed no concern at all and not even bothered to give me the customer care office contact number/email.

So please think twice before you decide to purchase a house/flat from Barrat Homes. I hope this is not the start of my nightmare with Barrat Homes, and that Barrat Homes will live up to the reputation they have tried to build over the years.
