Disadvantages: too expensive and not working hard enough for their customers in my experience

What a waste of time and money!!
I went with Paul Dubberley and Co to sell my house 6 months ago and they have totally changed the goalposts.
They were advertising in our 2 local best selling newspapers and because they decided they were too expensive they have stopped advertising with these and moved to 2 papers 15 miles away.And they havved stopped advertising my house in their window, which i might add was part of our contract.
At £1800+vat, PLUS the £446 for the hips pack, what the **** am i paying them for. I could do a better job advertising it myself.From today i am changing to a different estate agent, and advertising it privately.In 6 months i have had 2 viewings and no offers, not good for an immaculately presented house, and 2 bedroom so not out of reach for most buyers.I understand the market is very tough at the moment, so surely the EA should be working harder to sell your house, not taking a step away from it.
