I have only ever used this service to search for rental properties but have had a browse at the sales section recently and it operates in exactly the same fashion. Once you have selected the rentals or sales option, you are then faced ... more

I have lived in London for almost ten years, since I was a student in fact. And, along with the reality of high London prices, comes the reality that you will move flats more than the average person because of work commitments, friends leaving the city and various other reasons. So, every time I come to look for somewhere new to live, findaproperty.com is my first port of call. This website, is a facility basically whereby local estate agents from all over the UK can place their properties in a central place. It operates using a simple search facility. Once you log onto the website, you are given the option of whether to search for a property to rent, or a ... Read the complete review

The FindaProperty.com is one stop shop for all kind of renting and buying/selling property. This website has got the most comprehensive set of listings. Almost all of my friends and me bought the house by searching on this website. The website is very user friendly and fast. You can search house using place name, post code, station name and now even using tube map aid. You can also limit your search area using distance. Also in the result properties, it shows distance of atleast 3 tube/train stations from that property. There are some issues with the quality of content provided by the Estate Agents, and that needs to be addressed by applying strict ... Read the complete review

Findaproperty is a great site to go on if you're looking to buy or rent a property. The site is very easy to use and has lots of information about properties all over the country, and they also have a section on overseas properties. Findaproperty shows you properties sold by all different Estate Agents. The site has 5 main tabs which each have a different category to look at: 1. Buy- This is the first tab, on the left hand there is a space where you can type in different things that will help with your search for buying a property which are: Location: The area you are looking to buy in. Price min/max: If you have an idea of how much you want to ... Read the complete review

Myself, my boyfriend and another friend were looking for a property to rent over the last couple of months. Without this site, we'd probably still be looking. The listings are helpful, and Estate Agents can upload pictures, add text etc. Searching for listings is easy, you can type in a postcode, or location, and you can search on type, size and price range. Most agencys want you to call them, rather than use the contact forms - we asked loads to contact us, but none ever did, this was with all three of us getting details of properties we liked at different times. The only problems we had were with the estate agents themselves. We found one flat ... Read the complete review

When myself and my 4 flatmates-to-be started looking for a house to live in next year we weren't too concerned with haste (I should point out at this point we are all students at university in London) It was ages till term started and there was no rush. All we did little other than look on our university's own list each week and with a resounding "Naaaa! don't fancy it" proceeded to do absolutely nothing. Then it got to the summer and we left London and went back to our respective homes in Birmingham, Lincolnshire, Sheffield and Inverness. Now obviously this was going to be a bit of a problem when we needed a house in London. ... Read the complete review
