Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE, LOOK PROFESSIONAL BUT ONCE THEY HAVE YOUR MONEY THEY AREN'T INTERESTED

I also joined this site just so I can let as many people as possible know what terrible problems I had with this company. This is highlighted in the fact that they are not a member of any regulatory estate agent bodies and they also have their own team of solicitors (I wonder how many complaints they get!!!!). I rented my property through them to go travelling and thought that although they were the most expensive, that they would be the most professional. How wrong could I be? They breached their contractual obligations many times including loosing our house keys, but the main problem involved them not keeping any record of our contact details (how can this be!!!), therefore when our boiler stopped working we did not find out about it for 4 months. Consequently we had to pay our tenants compensation as Foxtons caused us to breach our tenancy agreement. I have found that they are a totally unprofessional and unhelpful company that are not interested in customer service. In my opinion they just want your money but are not prepared to do any work for you. Please, please do not use them.

Summary: How can a company that gives such poor service keep getting away with it !!!!
