Hi all,

We got in touch with Foxtons to let them know we had bought a new set of table and chairs (worth 700 pounds) and asked if the landlord was able to pick up the previous table and chairs (cheap looking).

We've never let anyone enter our property without us being here before (we have had to organise contractors to come around several times) but our property manager seemed to decide it was ok for the landlord to come round anyway without speaking to either of us.

The story gets worse, however, as not only did the landlord come around unathorised but instead of taking the cheap plastic table and chairs he decided to take the £700 oak ones. Not only were we greeted with no table and chairs on our return home, but there is a also a chunk missing out the wall, so the table or chairs were obviously hit against the wall with some force.

This is very upsetting as you can imagine!

I've spoken to a member of the 'emergency' property management team (as its after 6) and she was very arrogant saying apparently it's our fault and he had a right to come around as we were left an answerphone message on one of our mobiles!!
