“ Estate Agents „
I recently bought my home through Hunters Estate Agent and on the whole I couldn't be happier with my experiences with them. Despite the fact that an estate agent receives their fee from the seller I felt that they did genuinely care about treating me correctly as a buyer. They were efficient, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transaction where every part involved was happy with the outcome.
I should point out that some of Hunters agents are franchises and of course you won't get exactly the same level of service from each and every one, however I would imagine that there are standards that they are expected to achieve across the board and that there is a similar ethos in each one.
Hunters advertise their properties for sale on major websites such as rightmove, on their own site and in their windows, and in local newspapers and property brochures, so if you're selling you can be sure you're reaching a lot of potential buyers. They produce great sales materials for their properties, well lit photographs, detailed information and most importantly, they supply room sizes and floor plans. So many agents don't do this but they're the first things I look at when I see a property I'm interested in.
Of course, in the current property market, most agents are very eager to get things sold and get their commission in the bag, but I really felt that Hunters were going above and beyond with customer service. The agent I dealt with gave me his mobile number and was happy to take calls at any time, even evenings and weekends, although I felt bad so didn't bother him too much! He was also very helpful when arranging viewings, answering questions and even went out in pouring rain to go and check on something for me at the property when I needed a quick answer!
I feel that Hunters were helpful, professional and friendly and I wouldn't hesitate to use them were I to sell my place at some point in the future.
