Advantages: Functional, Easy to Use, Clear and Fast

Disadvantages: Need to get to 200,000 property listings quickly

having looked at LOOK4APROPERTY.COM and having called up their London office, they were happy to confirm that in just 14 weeks, the LOOK4APROPERTY.COM site now lists (05-06-06) just over 103,000 properties.

They acknowledge that they have areas whereby they currently have no properties, although in all fairness given that they have been around for JUST 14 weeks and have over 100,000 properties - I THINK THIS IS VERY IMPRESSIVE.

All of the OTHER property portals took over 3 years to get over 100,000 properties on so cap off to LOOK4APROPERTY.COM for such a great achievement in such a short space of time.

Like every other business their business seems to be growing on a fast rate with them adding 150 new agents MONTHLY. So on an annaul basis that's just shy of 2,000, which is excellent.

I saw their ITV TV campiagn and I thought it was excellent. Their traffic hasnow surpassed the 500,000 visitors a month and is growing as I understand month on month.

Those critics that have slated this site are either Rightmove employees or have never run their own business. The first is probably more applicable!!! A polite tip for them is - when anyone opens a business, it starts small and grows....DO THEY NOT UNDERSTAND THAT???? Even Richard Branson and Virgin started from a basement room.........and Virgin todays continues to grow BUT is a fraction of the SIZE of Flag Carrier BRITISH AIRWARYS...BUT he is doing well an providing effective competition.

In my view, Rightmove PLC will never be able to charge the ever increasing high fees that it does in the future as lean smaller, fast growing players like LOOK4APROPERTY.COM (easyjet) continue to bite chunks out of the heel of the full fare, full fat, bloated operating cost base, current market leader player like Rightmove PLC (British Airways).

The market will change. Look at M&S, they were No.1, £1bn+ annual profits then they fell off a cliff and little old £400m profits a year TESCO sped into the NO.1 pole position and is now the 3rd largest retailer in the world with annual profits topping £2.2bn.

These critics really need to grow up. LOOK4APROPERTY.COM is both impressive and functional. In 2 years time, so long as they have reached 250,000+ properties, they have cracked it and rightmove and other will be in trouble as I know LOOK4APROPERTY.COM are keen to keep their prices LOW.

Come back and do another review in 3 years and then lets see who is No.1 and No.2.

Summary: Objective, Functional Easy to Use, Fast, Not Loyal to Rightmove or others anyway!!!
