Advantages: They make the buying process easy

Disadvantages: The after-sales is awful

Redrow Midlands are building at 'The Grange' in Desborough, Northants.

They are still building on the site and make noise from 7am everyday.

The after-sales service is awful and trying to get snagging done is a nightmare.

Redrow staff come up with the most awful excuses why things go wrong. i.e. when we moved in there was an infestation of flies. they sent in a exterminator, but when the infestation returned a few months later they refused to do anything saying we were in the migratory path of the flies!

Piling work next door caused cracks in our walls - and we were told it was normal and due to the house drying out.. despite the fact that there were no cracks prior to the piling, which was so violent it knocked things from shelves in our house! They still refuse to do any remedial work to fix the damage..

Sorry but not recommended!

I have even started a guerilla website redrowhome.com to publicise my experiences.

Summary: Buy from an other builder if you must buy new
