My experience with Reeds Rains was a nightmare from start to finish. I dealt with the Ossett branch - there are only three agents in the town so choice is limited - but the lesson I learned was simple. Just use any other company than Reeds Rains. The problems were constant, relentless really. But most of all they were needless. Error followed error, similar to the other reviews here, and it was things that mattered that weren't complicated that they got wrong. For example, my lender required some basic work done on the house I was buying and the seller had agreed to do it. "Has this work been done?" I'd ask and the agent would always say "yes". Of course, it hadn't. I got to the point of standing outside the property, where I could see it hadn't been done and calling the agent for an update. "Yes, I can personally assure you that the work has been done" she'd say. I didn't know what to say at this point. Needless to say I eventually gave up and bought a different house from another agent.

Summary: Go elsewhere even if you have to travel
