Simplyremoval are absolutely unreliable! I booked 2 man with a van for a light move to a place less than 5 min drive from my current home in SW5. I had been allocated a slot 11am-1pm for the arrival time of the movers. At 12 pm I first called the main office to check the state of the van and I was told that their expected arrival time was 12.30-1pm, but they would have called me back to confirm after checking with the driver. I called the main office again at 1pm as I had received no confirmation from them. This time they said that they would have asked the driver to call me. At 2pm the driver finally called to say that he was stuck in traffic and it would have taken to him 1 more hour to arrive. At 3pm he said that his tom-tom was no good and he could not find my address. He had confused sw5 with sw15 and it would have taken to him another 30-40 min to arrive. At 4pm he was in still SW15 and it would have taken to him some more 45-60 min to arrive. At that point I was furious, I completely lost it and having waited for 5 hours I cancelled the service. I was desperate with all my stuff to move and noone to help. I complained with the main office but I received no apologies and I was actually treated as if I was too demanding!! They had no more staff to send and they said that I should have dealt directly with the driver. They said that they would have check and got back to me. They didn't but the driver called me at 5pm to say that he was outside my place. Oviously I had re-organised myself in the main time and did not use his service.

Summary: very bad experience
