Amber Moves in Hendon

I cannot recommend this company highly enough. They came and packed our whole flat up the day before, then moved us on the Friday, and provided the best service I think we have ever received, at a good price.

They turned up earlier than promised on both days, and worked hard, listened to everything we said, were caring, supportive and efficient and (almost!) made moving house a pleasure! The lads were brilliant, they worked tirelessly but cheerfully. If all the service in the UK was as good as this, websites like this one would not be needed.

Even when the solicitors appeared to have messed up and the payments seemed to have gone missing at 3pm on the Friday afternoon (nothing to do with the movers, of course) they were sympathetic and just told us not to worry. After what must have been a 14+ hour day they were very thorough moving us in, offering to plumb in the washing machine, reassemble our furniture, even move the sofa and tables and stuff around to where we wanted them, and ensuring the boxes were in the right rooms.

We were moving about 500 yards in South London, and we would recommend them to anyone in London or wherever they operate.

UPDATE! Some friends who used them a few months later told us that they even now give the customer a "Moving Box" - tea, sugar, bread, cat food, batteries - the sort of stuff you need when you move, and have to rush to the newsagent to buy. So they're getting even better!

I've heard so many horror stories from friends who've paid much more than we did for much worse service. If you're moving house, go for Amber!!!!!
