Removal Services in general Reviews

From the initial phone call to carrying out my move i found ash removals to be nothing but helpful and polite. They came highly recommended by friends and lived upto their reputation. I was having a difficult time leading up to my move and the team put me at ease. Im a single lady with children and they helped greatly dismantling some heavy furniture and rebuilding at new home. They even plumbed my washer in. I praise them on their patience while i had to wait for keys to my new house. I could not fault the service provided by the team on moving day and the polite friendly manner on the phone ( and i called them alot lol). I've thanked my friends for the recommendation and would highly recommend them to my family and friends.

Chappell's Removals - The experience I had with this company can only be described as very poor. I had alot of broken property and when I went to claim I was told I had missed the 7 day deadline. Their customer service is derisary.

Despite claims on their website and assurances given over the phone and in person, they are far from a professional company. They advised me on three separate occasions prior to moving that I did not need to protect my furniture as they would take great care and cover susceptible items. Totall agree with other review on Cupboardlove Vans. I recently moved from Lewisham to my new flat in Crouch End and have in the past been underwhelmed, to say the least, by companies who claim to be professional movers or 'man and van' services and charge less on the face of it but either lack social skills, damage my stuff or end up charging more anyway. The guy at Cupboard Love Vans who took my booking was polite and honest from the start about what it would cost. As it happened, he was not the man who moved me on the day, who was on time and also courteous and professional and charged me slightly less than I had been quoted because traffic was lighter than we had expected. I have already recommended this company to my friends, some of whom have used them, all with no complaints.

www.moveurstuff.co.Gave very good quote and informed they would arive this evening @6pm 12/07/09 to take larger items then return in morning to collect the rest of our belongings. At 6:05pm - I have just received a phone call informing me that due to a mechanical fault they would not be here tonight-or tomorrow or re-arrange another date! I had confirmation of the move and the gentleman didnt seem bothered at all that we had been left at such short notice - I already had half my furniture waiting outside! Do not be fooled by this company, highly unproffesional and I have been left high and dry and caused alot of distress - please dont let them do it to you! (only given 1 star rating as wouldnt let me give 0!)

Totally agree with this reveiw.. had huge problems with this company.. they lied and cheated at every turn and were rude and abnoxious from the Directors down.. I am taking my complaint to the Ombudsman and asking for compensation for the stress they put me through...NEVER use this company they need to be struck off.

Relocation 46 (or R46) - Bicester. Paid 500 quid to ship goods to Perth, Australia in May 2008. Despite numerous phone calls and emails, nothing turned up. Had two phone conversations: (1) Your stuff in on a boat on its way, and (2) We'll chase up where it is. No response from the company and no sign of my property. Also their phone appears disconnected although their web site appears up and emails don't bounce. Definitely not recommended!

BISHOPS MOVEDo not trust this company.They 'lost' a new bicycle (value £700) and despite admitting that it had been left in an unlocked van in an unlocked yard would accept no responsibility.We had expected to be moved by the Chessington branch and our goods to be stored there overnight. On the day of the move it was the Battesea branch and our goods were stored there overnight in a position where the CCT camera could not pick up activity.Obviously had we known neither van nor yard would be locked we would never have signed a contract with this company. I consider them to be in breach of contract but they will not accept this.In general they were very careless in handling goods and despite clearly labelled boxes dumped them wherever was easiest for the men.Don't use them!

WHY WAIT REMOVALS IN STOURBRIDGE!! We moved over 200 miles, and price was good, but customer service was very poor. We received furniture very dirty and we couldn't wash it. We tried to contact and solve the problem but nobody answered the calls and after waiting over one month we had no response from company. TERRIBLE!!!

Passion Moves!!! NEVER EVER even contemplate using this company. The people they employ are cowboys and your belongings will be treated in a shabby way. They will rush the job and damage items in the process. Avoid this company and you'll be better off.
