Advantages: Spare rooms are in convenient locations, Cheaper than Self Storage

Disadvantages: self storage companies are expensive

I have done a lot of research on self storage and removals companies, when I was due to emmigrate and was horrified by the prices just for a few sq feet.
To store a couple of rooms of belongings would have cost in excess £17 a week +
I searched high and low for other solutions, buying a container renting land to strore it on but it seemed expensive and unsecure, I was also concerned about damp and cold ruining furniture.
It then dawned on me that perhaps one of my friends had a spare room and fancied making a few quid a week, but no one really had enough room.
So then I decided to advertise for myself to see if anyone would store my stuff in there house in a spare room in return for £300 a year. I had a few responses and decided that others should be aware of this as an option.
