TOWNENDS ARE COMPLETE SCUM. I have recently ended a tenancy at a shared house of which I was a member for 1 year the 3 year term, upon leaving the property we have been asked to pay an extra £2000 on top of losing all of our existing deposit. This figure has been plucked out of the air with no evidential backup to pay for water damage to the ceiling caused by a leak.....which we reported......3 times....over the course of 2 weeks, which they did nothing about. I was then forced to fix the leak myself. We were also left without a shower for 3 weeks with no rent reduction to reflect this. Charged admin fees of £147 every time a housemate moved in, however there was no inventory review so we are also being expected to come up with a leaving inventory taken three years ago and about 10 different tenants ago.

SCUM.
