Your Move, to quote their business card, People Focused, Passionate, Professional, Progressive. To create a company whose people care more about delivering the best estate agency experience for its customers, moving made easier! DON'T YOU BELIEVE IT. In May, I accepted an offer from a first time buyer on My Mum's house which had no chain and was told it would complete in 6-8 weeks with no problem. Here we are 22 weeks down the line and, it seems that the only way to get them moving was to threaten to put it back on the market with another agent.

The ball is now rolling fast. They had a key to show prospective buyers round the property but I conducted more viewings. When the offer was accepted, they put me with a solicitor over 90 miles from home, obviously I changed. They have just sat back and not worked for us or pushed the buyer who did not know what she was doing.

I found out this week that they had given permission for a builder to go in to prepare an estimate for a new central heating system with a view to the buyer asking for a reduction in price (After 21 weeks!). There is nothing wrong with the old system. You can imaging what my reaction was. They have only just decided to keep me, and my solicitor up to date, we could never get any information out of them (that's because they never bothered to find out what was going on). To submit this review, I have had to award one star minimum, I would not award any. Use this company at your peril

Summary: This must be the worst estate agents ever

I would put it up with another agent. I feel having had quite a few dealings with estate agents both buying and selling, that they do VERY LITTLE to earn their commission.

Estate agents are salesmen that could'nt cut it in the corporate world ;)

To be fair, it's your responsibility to hire a solicitor, not your agent's responsibility. Also, you have not said what the hold up is (do you know?) so it is not clear why you are blaming the agent (although they clearly have some responsibility if it has taken this long and they have not at least tried to push things along). Good luck - although I think that I WOULD remarket if I were you. Your buyer can't possibly be serious after this long.
