Apple TV 160 GB ... have had my apple TV for over 2 years now and I can honestly say there is not a day goes by where I don t use it. I adore the simple and clean interface when browsing my music, movies or TV shows and the fact that they are available at a click of a button without having to change a CD or DVD. It is nice to have your content all in one central hub. It works seamlessly with iTunes and syncing (storing media on the built in hard drive) is as simple as clicking a tick box. Also streaming media from your PC is efficient even over a g standard network but I wouldn t recommend streaming high definition content over such a network due to the higher bit rate. Pure VL-60967 ... my old music system broke, I set out for John Lewis with 4 main criteria. 1. To get a system that I could play really loud without distortion; 2. It should be small enough to fit on shelf in my kitchen diner; 3. I could plug my ipod into it; 4. It should have DAB radio. Apple TV 40 GB ... bought one of these second hand from a friend having a clearout. Apple TV is designed to provide a central unit that you can plug into any component or HDMI enabled HDTV to allow you to stream media from your computer to your television. The set up of the device is actually amazingly simple. You plug a HDMI cable from the box to the TV, and a power cable from the box to your power supply. The device then takes you through the setup process, which basically consists of pointing it towards your wireless Network (or if you must, plug in an ethernet cable!).
