Mediastar Evolution 760/2M ... files from the on-board static flash memory. As well as being able to show both live and stored MPEG- 2/4, the unit is able to show PowerPoint presentations(converted to HTML), JPEGs, PNGs and Webpages. It is designed to maximize the visual quality of digital display devices such as plasma screens and LCDs. Video is output in a wide variety of formats including Composite, S-Video, VGA - WXGA, RGB, YPbPr, DVID, HDMI, at up to 1080p resolution. It can operate either in stand-alone mode, where new playlists and video content are downloaded to unit or under the control of the central MediaStar Administration system. It has Browser/RS232/USB and IR remote control interfaces and is built around an ultra reliable dual-core computing engine running under Linux.
