Advantages: Under £400! Loaded with features

Disadvantages: Not the best musical receiver, styling may not suite some

Have had this for about 7 months now, still as good as the day I got it. Onkyo produce recievers for people on a tight budget but dont let that fool you into thinking these are 'cheap'. For under £400 and including Dolby TRUE HD with bandwidth of around 24mb/sec these recievers are a bit special, films sound stunning and so do games, music is not their strong point but you wont be complaining. Currently its linked to my computer and is doing a fantastic job, absolutely loaded with features many manufacturers are finding it hard to compete with this package as it also includes 4 HDMI video inputs.

At the end of the day this reciever is £400, I have heard worse at the £1000 mark (no im not joking), it will do nothing more than impress you.
I would not recommend anything else if your looking for a reciever with the 'TRUE HD' tag at this price range, simply stunning.
