Pioneer AV Receiver Problem (Pioneer VSX 516-S)
Advantages: Sound Quality - Price Disadvantages: Triping Off or Cutting Off on Its Own I purchased a VSX-516 Pioneer Audio/ Video Multi-Channel Receiver to replace a Technics AV Control Stereo Receiver which Display Screen was no longer working although the Technics unit was working fine otherwise. The Pioneer A/V Unit keeps tripping-off whenever I use the CD player - after about ten-minutes of playing time. I have not hooked the Pioneer Receiver to the DVD player or TV to see if this 'tripping-off' problem is evident with all external components. COMMENTS from other users will be appreciated. The Pioneer Receiver sounds fine otherwise. Summary: Pioneer Unit Switching Itself Off
