Sony STR DG700 ... a control center for a state of the art AV system with HDMI pass-through switching as well as component video conversion. This technology allows video signals from analog inputs like S-Video and composite video to be up-converted to component video, and be seamlessly output to the display device via only ONE set of component cables, minimizing cable carnage between the AV receiver and the TV display. Also included is a pre-programmed, multi-brand remote to operate the entire system and reduce the amount of electronic clutter on your coffee table.

This outstanding receiver also features a 32-bit DSP for DTS-ES / DTS 96/24 / DTS NEO 6 / Dolby Digital EX/ Dolby Pro Logic IIx, Digital Cinema Sound with 38 sound modes, HDMI digital video switching, HDTV compatible component video switching with up convert and A/V Sync switchable audio delay for adjusting lip-sync.
