Having bought a ps3 and liking the blu ray function i thought it was time to upgrade my ageing Pioneer receiver and make use of the hdmi goodness. Opening up the box revealed the receiver to be well packaged with everything neatly inside. It looks a real beast of a receiver and dwarfs my old pioneer, it's not ugly looking at all, it just looks very functional! Set up was really easy and it even comes with a little sound test mic/dongle that you position in your room where you would sit.
