Here are four delicious baking recipes. They all taste really nice.
-- Rich Cake --
You Will Need:
100g Soft Margarine
100g Caster Sugar
125g S.R. Flour
2 Eggs
25g Flavourings
The oven needs to be on 180 degrees.
Gas mark 4
Cream the margarine and sugar until it's light and fluffy
Beat the egg in a basin
Beat in the egg a little at a time
Fold in the flour using a metal spoon
Add flavourings
Check it is soft dropping consistency
Spread evenly in tins
Bake until pale golden brown and bounces back hen touched

You Will Need:
150g Plain Flour
100g Block Margarine
50g Caster Sugar
The oven needs to be on 170 degrees
Gas mark 3
Rub fat into flour and sugar until it's like fine breadcrumbs
Squeeze and knead into a dough
Cut and bake until slightly darker, but still slightly soft
Put onto a cooling tray to go crisp
-- Short Crust Pastry --
You Will Need:
100g Flour
25g Block Margarine
25g Block White Fat
Cold Water to Mix
Oven needs to be on 200 C
Gas mark 6
Cut fat into flour with a knife
Rub fat into flour, until it looks like fine breadcrumbs
Add cold water a little at a time until a stiff dough
Roll out on a floured board and line tins
Add topping/filling
Bake until firm and pale brown

You Will Need:
150g Block Margarine
50g Demerara Sugar75g Syrup/Honey
100g Nuts and Dried Fruit
200g Rolled Oats
Oven needs to be on 180 degrees
Gas mark 4
Grease tin and light oven
Put sugar and margarine into a large saucepan
Warm very gently until margarine has melted
Take off the heat
Stir in flavourings and oats until all coated
Press into a tin until level
Bake 25 minutes until light brown and firm
Cute in the tin to even sized pieces
Leave to cool in the tin
