Who doesnt like chocolate!? (Brownies)

Advantages: Really yummy and boozy!

Disadvantages: Ever so slightly calorific!!

I made these brownies for a party recently and they were scoffed within seconds! (and I'm not the most ifted of chefs!).

What you will need for the brownies

1/2 of a cup of butter
2oz chocolate
2 eggs
3/4 of a cup of sugar
1/2 of a cup of flour
1/2 cup pecans, chopped
1/4 cup amaretto (I usually put in a little bit more than this, although not too much because it will ruin the consistency.

What you will need for the frosting

3 tbsp of butter
1 1/2 cup sugar
4 1/2 tsp amaretto
4 1/2 tsp cocoa butter
4 1/2 tsp hot coffee (not decaf)

What you need to do

Preheat the oven to 320 degrees. Melt the butter and the chocolate in a saucepan over low heat. When it has melted, let the mixture cool. Stir in eggs, add sugar, flour, salt and pecans, mixing well. Pour batter in a greased
container for 35 minutes (35 minutes for a fan assisted oven. Cook it for a little longer if the oven isn't fan assisted). Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool for 5 minutes. Poke small holes in the brownies and pour the amaretto over the top. Put them in the fridge til cooled and then spread the frosting over the brownies.

Yum!!
