Disadvantages: No reason not to have one for every meal

Here's a recipe that's been floating around the internet in various forms for a long time, definitely too good not to share. Ridiculously easy and delicious.

3 Minute Microwave Chocolate Cake in a Mug

Ingredients-

-4 tablespoons flour
-4 tablespoons sugar
-2 tablespoons cocoa
-1 egg
-3 tablespoons milk
-3 tablespoons butter

1. Put the flour, sugar and cocoa in a microwaveable mug- like a big coffee mug. Then mix in the egg.

2. Thoroughly stir in the milk and butter- whisking the mixture til it's smooth and whippy.

3. Stick the mug in the microwave at maximum power (mine does 850w and worked out perfectly) for about 2 minutes, until the cake has risen slightly over the edge of the mug, and is firm and moist.

4. Leave to stand for another 20 secs, then spoon out, dust with icing sugar, and enjoy!

The cake's both deliciously light and tasty, as well as being virtually idiotproof and effortless- my favourite type of recipe ;)
It's enough for one generous dessert (or for two people to wrestle over).

If you want to be a little bit more fancy with it, you could incorporate chocolate chips, vanilla, icing, strawberry jam, etc, but it's fantastic as it is!

Summary: Advert-break-cake.
