great for party food (Cheese Recipes)

Advantages: so quick and simple to make

Disadvantages: none to me

This recipe is for cheesy sausage slice, its great for partys or just a tasty snack, my daughter loves it and its so quick and easy to make, its similar in looks to a pizza, its so tasty

Ingredients:

4 slices of wholemeal buttered bread
1 tin of hotdog sausages
1 small onion
1 courgette
1 tablespoon of self raising flour
2 teaspoons of freshly chopped parsley
2 eggs
half a cup of grated mozzarella cheese

1) cut the crusts off the bread
2) arrange the slices (butter side up)at the bottom of a shallow dish in a square shape
3) cut the hot dogs into slices then put in a seperate dish
4) chop onion and courgette into small chunks, then add to sausages
5) add the chopped parsley and flour then the cheese
6) beat the eggs then add to rest and then mix well
7) spoon the mixture over the bread

sprinkle with salt and pepper if you wish.

You can cook in two ways, if im in a rush i cover with cling film then microwave for 8 minutes on medium temp, but if you have time then cook in the oven on 180 degrees for 15-20 minutes, i prefer it cooked in the oven especially if its for a party as it stays fresher for longer, but if your going to eat it quickly then microwaving is fine.

It can be served hot or cold, i prefer it hot as the cheese is soft and stringey, but it goes down really well at partys especially with the kids, i always slice it into about 8 portions i always make one for picnics too, hope you like it as much as me.
