Rich chocolate Pudding
This recipe serves 4
Ingredients:
1/4 C. of sugar
2 T. of cornstarch
2 C. of hot milk
3 oz. of semisweet or bittersweet chocolate, preferably imported, coarsely chopped
1 t. of vanilla extract
Directions:
Stir the sugar and the cornstarch together in a medium saucepan. Gradually stir in the milk. Heat it up while stirring constantly, until the sugar dissolves and the mixture begins to boil and thicken, for about 10 minutes. Add the chocolate.
Cook over medium-low heat, making sure you are stirring constantly, until the chocolate is melted and the mixture thickens, for about 5 minutes or so. Remove pudding from the heat; Let the concoction cool for about 5 minutes or so. Stir in the vanilla then Pour the pudding into some small custard cups and then serve your yummy desert warm or at room temperature. Refrigerate the leftovers. This is a dish that everyone will enjoy.
