---- American pancakes with white cream and hot caramel ----
Ingredients for pancakes (you can use any other pancake recipe but I really like this chocolaty mixture, if you don't have baking soda you can use mineral water) :
* 350g flour
* 1 egg
* 300ml milk
* 1-2 teaspoons baking powder
* pinch of Baking soda
* 50g butter
* 50g chocolate
* pinch of salt
It's quite simple, you melt chocolate and butter and just mix all ingredients together until you get a smooth mixture.
Put some oil in the frying pan and pour the mixture on it (a pancake should be around 10cm in diameter). Fry it on one side until little bubbles start appearing then turn the pancake and fry it for 10ish seconds and it's done.
Repeat the procedure until you run out of the mixture ;)
* 250g mascarpone
* 200ml whipping cream (do not whip it), remove 2-3 spoons for hot caramel
You mix these two ingredients together
*100g candy caramel
*2-3 spoons of whipping cream if you want it to be dense if you want it to be more liquidy use milk instead of cream
Put this ingredients into a small pot and cook (and stir occasionally) until candy caramel melts.
Take a pancake spread the cream, put another pancake on top of that, then another layer of cream and a pancake (and so on). Spill hot caramel on top of that.
Voila! Bon apetit!
I shared this recipe mostly because of the simple trick on how to get extremely tasty hot caramel cream - I use it on many, many deserts, it goes extremely well with banana split and all other ice-cream and fruit desserts.
A simple thing that can make your desserts even more fabulous (with little to no effort).
Summary: Yum yum!
