Making a fish meal is really easy. It cooks it is extremely healthy and can be served with a variety of things. It also looks good and if you are having someone round then it?s a good meal to prepare.
So here?s the recipe for a fish dinner or supper as I like to call it:
Serves 2
Buy 2 medium sized fish. You can buy a pack of two from Asda for £2.18. You will however have to clean it yourself which is easy. Simply, chop the head and tail of and give it wash.
Prepare the mixture to mix the fish in, for this you will need;
2 tsp of China Ata
1 tsp of Karam Masala
½ tsp of Red chillies
½ tsp of salt
Simply, mix using a spoon. Now cover both fish in the mixture.
Place the fish on a plate, clean your chopping board and cut some vegetables.
Chop a red onion
1 tomato
1 green pepper
sweetcorn
the different colours look good. Now bring back your fish and in the middle place your vegetables. Then get some foil, grease proof it. Put both fish in the centre and seal from the top. Place in the grill for 1 hour. After half and hour simply turn round. There?s no need to open.
Meanwhile, you can prepare some white rice to go with the fish or boil some vegetables (some broccoli, carrots etc) and serve with fish. You can create a sauce from your vegetables by using a vegetable stock and pour over using fish. Simply season your fish with parsley, place at the centre of your plate and whatever your serving with it round it.
It tastes delicious and is filling. It?s easy to make because once everything is in the grill and pan you don?t have to do anything. You can buy the fish mixture ingredients from any good Indian shop. All together it should take about an hour and half to prepare and cook. You could sprinkle a bit of lemon on the fish before season off. Or serve with a salad with fresh lemon slices.
